Electrical Installations and Periodic Inspection Earth Testing

Electrical installations, earthing and lightning protection systems are assessed separately in terms of project scope and measurement points.

What measurements and checks are carried out during electrical inspections?

Scope: this is determined based on the facility project and single-line diagram, voltage level, switchboard and circuit structure, protection schemes and measurement points. Switchboards, conductors and connections, overcurrent and earth leakage protection, continuity of protective conductors, insulation condition and electrical parameters specific to the installation are examined.

Earthing installations, lightning conductors and other lightning protection systems are inspected in accordance with different project specifications, measurement points and assessment criteria. The equipment and methods used, measurement points, values obtained, inaccessible areas and differences between the project and the site are presented in the report in a traceable manner.
