Industrial Shelving and Scaffolding Periodic Inspection
Shelving, scaffolding and fixed access structures are assessed individually based on their installation method, load conditions and on-site usage.

Which structural elements are examined in shelving and scaffolding?
Uprights, beams, cross-braces, connections and anchors on warehouse and pallet racking; impact damage, deformation, corrosion and missing parts; the on-site layout of the racking, together with load labels, are examined. Rack rows and the findings identified are linked to their specific locations in such a way that they can be located again on-site.
For facade, mobile or suspended scaffolding, the load-bearing system, base and connections, platforms, guardrails, access elements and the integrity of the installation are assessed. Fixed platforms, walkways and ladders are assessed according to their specific usage; any inaccessible areas and site conditions affecting safe inspection are noted in the report.
